Team Services
What to expect
Scott works with coaches and teams to improve performance through culture development and mental skills training.
Support ranges from single group sessions to season-long integrated support.
When sessions are less frequent, coaches and organizations typically want immediate support to help their athletes perform under pressure.
With deeper team integration, Scott works with the coaches and athletes to build psychological safety between team members, align everyone around shared values and standards, establish shared mental models, and develop mental skills.
Scott also provides individual support for team members as needed within the environment. This involves supporting individuals with mental struggles and life challenges, and acting as a liaison so team members can communicate smoothly across the organization.
Surrounding all of this, Scott believes strong relationships are the most important factor in building a sustainable high performance environment.

What coaches are saying
Nicole Garrido, Head Speed Skating Coach, Richmond Olympic Oval
“Scott is like a breath of fresh air! Our sessions with him were thought-provoking, engaging, and fun. Not to mention the mental performance tools he taught our athletes were easy incorporate into their daily training routine. As a coach, I feel I have more resources to enhance the way I support my athletes and the quality of their training. I wish I could’ve had Scott as my mental performance coach back when I was an athlete!”
Johann Wong, Head Coach, Apex Volleyball Coach
“I consistently preach that volleyball is 70-80% mental and the rest is physical, but how many hours do I actually schedule in for developing my team's mental skills... not many. During this past club season, I had Scott lead some sessions with my U18 Girls Volleyball Team and develop their mental skills. He helped them improve their confidence and deal with anxiety. He also led a club session with coaches to give a taste of what a Mental Performance Session is like. He brought a wealth of knowledge and experience, he's also very engaging and supportive. It was a pleasure to have Scott be a part of my volleyball team.”
